Boston College
Biology (pre-dental) major, active in club sports, ROTC and Greek life
I’m from Hingham, MA and I am studying biology with a pre-dental track. I have included a real estate minor to learn more about my passions for houses and construction. These courses include basic levels of accounting and business management. In my free time I’m very active. I enjoy running road races, playing golf and basketball. I’m involved in Greek like on campus, Army ROTC, men’s club basketball team, student government, and youth ministry group. Greek life has been a great part of my time at school giving me the chance to become closer to a tight group of guys.

Describe your college experience
My first year of college was rough. I missed home and did not enjoy my living situation. For some reason it took awhile to realize that a lot of my peers were also in the same boat. Coming from an all-boys high school I felt like I was missing some of the competitive energy and camaraderie that I once had. So, I joined Greek life and found an unbelievable group of guys who were like minded and wanted to do well in school, workout, and have a good time. Being involved in ROTC was also an incredible learning experience. The additional classwork and workouts were uncomfortable, but it was there where I learned to balance multiple aspects of life. Hard but controlled. My professors were kind and easy to get along with. Materials were easy to review with them when needed. Not many assignments were handed out and the big items landed on tests and papers for grading.
Favorite class
Tie between genetics and financial accounting – Genetics was so different and interesting. Financial accounting was simple and enjoyed when things balanced.
Career goals
Learn from different industries and pull it altogether at the end
Ideal way to spend a free night
Get a solid workout in and fuel up with some good food. Hit a friends house and have a cigar on the porch with a few beers to kick back after the school week.
