University of Southern California
Music Industry Student @ USC Thornton and Marshall!
Hello! My name is Kayla Trinh and I'm from Orange County, CA! My time here at USC has been a rollercoaster, but everyone is so kind, awesome, and inspiring. I love meeting others and I'd love to lend a helping hand/a few words of wisdom to anybody I give a tour to. I also have a lovely, sassy cat, Jelly.

Describe your college experience
My college experience, thanks to my lovely friends, professors, and mentors, has been transformative, challenging, and simultaneously awesome. There are a lot of difficult moments and hard decisions, but they all turn into learning experiences. You're truly never alone, and everyone is kinder than you'd ever imagine.
Favorite class
Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship (BAEP 450) with Albert Napoli. There are so many others, like Introduction to Feminist Theory with Dr. Diane Blaine, Songwriting 1 with David Poe, etc, etc. Every single class I've had so far, I've liked or loved. The professors are personable and charming, if you come in like a sponge, you'll learn so much.
Career goals
Be happy + make a living.
Ideal way to spend a free night
With loved ones, or a favorite show (mine at the moment is Phineas and Ferb).
High school or secondary school
Rancho Alamitos High School, 2019-2023.
