Hi! My name is Sierra, I'm a student at UIUC! I'm currently an undeclared major, but planning to transfer into Music+ next semester, but I'm still not 100% sure on what I want my final major to be. Some of my hobbies include singing​/​songwriting, music production, and journaling. I love thrifting, concerts, and arts & crafts. Fun facts about me: I love collecting stickers, Shirley Temples, and playing with dogs. I also used to play softball!

Describe your college experience

So far my college experience has been good! There's always something fun to do on campus! I would say the hardest part of the transition is managing my time wisely.

Favorite class

I like my Design Futures class, it's an honors course where we design posters for activism. I like it because it's a creative course, and it's very chill. I also like my musicianship course though, because it is challenging and is helping me to train my ear.

Career goals

I hope to have some sort of career in the music industry! Ideally, I can sustain myself as an artist, but I am also looking into going into either music production or music advertising in the industry. Not totally sure what I want to do yet!

Ideal way to spend a free night

Sometimes I like to go out to local house venues for music shows, but other times I like to stay in and do a movie night with my friends. It really depends on my mood!
