Dartmouth College
My name is Delfi and I am eager to be your tour guide! :)
Hi! I’m Delfi, an international student here at Dartmouth majoring in Economics and minoring in Engineering with a focus on Human-Centered Design. I’m really involved on campus—I work as a TA, play for the field hockey club, and I also get to share my love for Dartmouth as a tour guide! When I’m not studying or on the field, you’ll probably find me playing sports, doing pilates, or working on arts and crafts projects. I’m super passionate about both sports and creativity, and I love being part of such a vibrant community here.

Describe your college experience
My college experience has been an incredible journey of growth, exploration, and connection. Transitioning to life at Dartmouth was both exciting and a bit daunting, but the sense of community here made it feel like home right away. I’ve been able to dive deep into my academic passions, majoring in Economics and minoring in Engineering with a focus on Human-Centered Design, which has been a great blend of analytical thinking and creativity. Outside of academics, Dartmouth has offered so many opportunities to get involved. I’ve been able to work as a teaching assistant, which has not only reinforced my knowledge but also helped me develop my leadership skills. I’m also part of the field hockey club, which has been a fantastic outlet for staying active and meeting new people. And of course, I love being a tour guide—it’s amazing to share my experiences and help prospective students see what makes Dartmouth so special. Dartmouth’s unique balance of rigorous academics, vibrant student life, and supportive community has really shaped me and prepared me for whatever comes next.
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been Sociology 20, "Population and Society." Each week, we explored a different country, diving deep into its economy, politics, culture, and more. I loved how it gave me a global perspective and allowed me to understand the interconnectedness of these factors. Honestly, I would love to retake it over and over again, because there’s always something new and interesting to discover about each country. The way this class broadened my worldview and sparked my curiosity has been one of the highlights of my time at Dartmouth.
Career goals
My career goals revolve around the fields of economics, investment banking, wealth management, consulting, and marketing. Whether it’s through advising clients, analyzing markets, or working on strategy in a consulting role, I’m excited to apply my skills and knowledge in a dynamic and impactful way.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night would be heading to Molly’s for dinner with friends, enjoying a fun night out, and then coming home to hang out with my roommate. We’d debrief about the night while munching on gummy bears.
