Describe your college experience

I love the freedom of living at a dorm. Being able to make your own decisions is something I didn't realize I needed. That being said, I do feel homesick sometimes and miss my parents. College offers a lot of recreational activities, such as sports, gym, and events. I appreciate all of the things we have accessible here and love the convenience on campus. Determining my own schedule too is also a bonus. Fine-tuning my classes to fit my schedule helps me free up time and also develop my time management skills. All in all, this first year at college has been great aside from some minor cons and I hope high school seniors consider going to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Favorite class

My favorite class is Introduction to Chemistry because we do lots of interesting experiments and although hard, I enjoy learning about Chemistry.

Career goals

I do not have a set path I want to take in the future but I want to do something animal-related. I hope my classes right now will help guide my career path.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Playing video games with friends is a good way to spend my free time. If I am bored, I will take a late night walk because the night breeze is nice and it feels good to stretch out my legs and get some fresh air. It also helps me explore around campus and clear my mind. On the off chance I am free and someone is also free, we will play basketball together at one of the nearby courts for fun.
