My name is May, I am a current student at the UIUC studying Plant Biotechnology in the ACES program. Outside of classes I often find myself at the ARC playing volleyball, at the Grainger Library doing homework, or eating at my favorite spot at the Pho Noodle Station on Green Street. I am in RSOs like AAA, PSA, and Crochet Club. I like to read, journal, and workout to keep myself calm. Overall, I have definitely acclimated to life at UIUC and pursue many of my passions in addition to my education.

Describe your college experience
It was rough academically in the beginning because studding for college midterms is very different from high school midterms. But once study habits fall in place academics are good. And life on campus is so fun.
Favorite class
My favorite class is my CPSC lab because I get to work hands on in the green house with plants and organisms. I love botany and plants and it has always been a passion of mine.
Career goals
I want to go into research or clinical lab.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I like to go to the ARC and play volleyball with friends or going out to eat on Green Street in my free time.
