University of Alabama
Freshman at the University of Alabama
I am a freshman at UA majoring in Kinesiology Pre-Med. I'm involved with several clubs and organizations on campus, such as Historical Martial Arts, Crimson Stage, and the Alabama Shakespeare Project. In my free time, I am an actor, poet, author, and playwright, and I am not affiliated with Greek life in any capacity. I look forward to bringing so many new people to this beautiful campus.

Describe your college experience
College is definitely different from what I had expected. You grow up seeing movies and TV shows telling you all about the parties and the classes and the fun. While it's definitely been some of the most fun of my life, there are a lot of days when you miss home. Days where you have to call your family because you don't know how to schedule a doctor's appointment. The University of Alabama is a city within itself, with stores and restaurants walking distance from your dorm and so many people. The freshman population is over half the population of my hometown.
Favorite class
Intro to Theatre has been my favorite class so far, the instructor -LaBorn Brown- is an excellent teacher and provides engaging lectures and supporting feedback. The class is fun and full of life, you can tell the instructor and graduate Teaching assistants really enjoy what they teach.
Career goals
I don't know, I'm considering changing my major and career path. I am just rolling with the tide right now.
Ideal way to spend a free night
The ideal way to spend a free night depends on whether or not you stay on campus. There is so much to do, with organizations meeting on the Quad, and friends going to the strip. But for me, the ideal free night is spent with friends, either going out to eat or just chilling on the Quad, doesn't really matter what we're doing.
