Describe your college experience

I've been lucky to have a phenomenal experience at Cornell. As a transfer student, I have been embraced by the wonderful academic and artistic communities here on campus. Despite being in upstate NY, there is a never a dull moment between rigorous yet engaging classes and lively social events and performances. As a guide for School Scoops, I hope to impart my love for the university while still giving an honest tour that helps students determine whether Cornell is the best fit for them.

Tip for future students

Be open to many experiences and opportunities. You never know where it may lead.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been PMA 4660 - Adaptation in which I studied television, film, visual art and theatrical adaptations of various books, plays, and historical events. The class culminated with a final project in which I wrote and directed my own adaptation of an Old English poem.

Career goals

After college, I aspire to be a professional actor and director, eventually opening my own theatre company.

Ideal way to spend a free night

On a free night, I love to watch movies and chat with my close friends.

Previous college

I transferred to Cornell from UC San Diego. Despite transferring in the spring of my sophomore year, I was able to find my place at Cornell and haven't regretted my decision to transfer.
