Describe your college experience
As an out-of-state student, it was definitely a little challenging at times to ,ale the transition to college. However, getting involved with clubs around campus really was a great way to get outside my comfort zone and to meet new people. It can feel abrupt at first, but this place is definitely like home now!
Tip for future students
Be patient with yourself! College is definitely overwhelming at first, but if you put yourself out there and do your best, you'll find your people and where you belong on campus. It may feel like everyone else already knows what's going on, but you're all really just trying to find your way together so don't stress!
Favorite class
In Entrepreneurship 212, we work in teams to develop a start-up business in solution to a problem on campus. We bring it all the way to market, learning about the finances and marketing strategies behind starting a business.
Career goals
I hope to eventually attend a dual-degree program and get my JD/MBA so I can become a lawyer. However, first I plan to take a gap year where I work and travel as a teacher.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Either going to a Michigan sporting event or having a game night with friends.
