I’m a freshman at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I’m studying English, pre-med, and minoring in psychology. My favorite places on campus are the recreation center, the quad, and the various coffee shops.

Describe your college experience

I have absolutely loved college so far. I love the layout of campus and my classes and teachers have been amazing. My advisor has helped me so much in deciding how to pursue my goals. My transition to college was exciting and I found it important to find a community.

Tip for future students

I advise future students to go the different organizations in order to find a community. Finding people similar to you is essential for having a support system in college.

Favorite class

My absolutely favorite class so far has been Greek Mythology (CLCV 115) because of how interesting it is and it happens in the gorgeous Foellinger Auditorium. It is also very possible to do well in the class by studying and spreading out the work.

Career goals

I really hope to go to medical school after college to pursue a career as a doctor.
