Hello! I am Lucy "Lukia", a dual-enrolled student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Along with attending classes at East Chapel Hill High School, I take Studio Arts and English classes at UNC with a focus on film, video editing, and cinema history. I enjoy playing tennis, reading, filmmaking, photography, and listening to music. I also am in the process of applying to colleges, and can provide information on the application process! Describe your college experience
Although the enrollment process can be tedious, the transition from high school to college was amazing! The college environment, especially in Chapel Hill's wooded areas, was much more peaceful and friendly compared to the academic stresses of high school. I've enjoyed college classes more than I ever have enjoyed high school classes!
Tip for future students
Relax, take a breath, and have as much fun as you can!
Favorite class
My favorite class at UNC Chapel-Hill has been ARTS 206: Video II. I took the class in the Fall 2024 semester, and worked hands-on in all stages of the video production process, while also bonding with my classmates and instructor.
Career goals
I hope to join a film production company, assisting in the post-production process, script writing, animation, and idea generation!
Ideal way to spend a free night
An ideal night for me would be reading a novel in bed under dimmed lighting, or simply relaxing and unwinding from the day.
