University of South Carolina
I'm a senior that's excited to show you my past four years at USC!
I am currently a senior enjoying my last semester at USC and wanted to share my experiences because I was an out of state student and understand how scary it is looking for colleges. Coming to USC has been one of the best decision of my life and I want to share my passion for this school to kids and parents so they can also make the right decision.

Clubs, organizations & involvement
Some fun things that I've done have been being the team captain for my intramural soccer team and going to every football home game! I have been involved with a club called the Carolina Sales Institute were I led on the executive team as a Graphic Design Chair. Additionally, I was initiated into a professional business fraternity where I met friends and gained real-world business skills. For work I held an on-campus job at Outdoor Recreation as the Marketing Assistant helping manage their social media account. Furthermore, I have had several serving jobs from places like Cowboy to Henry's bar and grill during the school year. During my summers I got internships from the Darla Moore Expo as an Account Manager for Gartner and as a Marketing Intern for RudderStack. Overall, I have tried a little bit of everything at USC and that has what made college such a memorable time!

Describe your college experience
When I came to college I was an out of state student, thousands of miles from my hometown, and didn't know a single person. I really enjoyed getting to know my roommates and exploring campus. Some things that I tried when I first got to school was the Mountaineering club since I lived near the mountains all my life. I also joined an intramural soccer team because that was my main sport in high school. From there I met friends from classes, the clubs I joined, or going out on the town. After freshman year I really started focusing on school and building stronger friendships which led me to the tight knit group of friends I have today and a career that I am excited to explore.
Tip for future students
One tip that I would give future students is to put yourself out there when you first get to school. Everyone is in the same position as you just trying to find friends and what they enjoy doing. Use the resources that the school provides you such as organizations, clubs, and websites to find what ways to meet new people. Then once you put yourself out there just give yourself time. It takes time to find the right people, to figure out what you want in a career, and what your true hobbies are. Everything will work itself out, especially at USC!
Favorite class
This past semester I took a pickleball class on Fridays. I had so much fun meeting new people and learning how to play pickleball. It helped me find an activity I can do with friends in a pressure free environment. Our coach was really funny and created games for us to play each week. I loved the class so much that for my birthday I got a pickball raquet and some balls.
Career goals
After I graduate in May I am taking a month long trip to Europe with my best friend. We are traveling to Ireland, Netherlands, Italy, and Croatia meeting some of our international friends along the way. When I get back I am starting a full-time position at a research and consulting company called Gartner where I will be responsible for selling to c-level executives. I will be moving to Fort Myers, Florida in July to enjoy the beaches and start my job.
Ideal way to spend a free night
This past year I have really enjoyed spending time with my friends doing various fun activities. Our group really enjoys playing board games, hosting tailgates to watch college football, going out to unique bars we've found, and enjoying the bachelor on Monday nights. Our favorite board game has been Wavelength. For tailgates, we make homemade sausage dip with chips and use our hand painted pong table for tournaments. Lastly, bachelor night is a time for all of us to catch up on our busy lives while enjoying some live entertainment.
