Tufts Sophomore Tour Guide
Hello! I am a motivated college sophomore driven toward gaining new insight through firsthand experiences that work to achieve tasks at hand to their best ability. I am adaptive and love noticing the small things, and consider myself a great listener engaged in collaborative efforts to promote success. In my free time, I love to rock climb and am a recreational team anchor, love to dance, love listening to any and all music, and enjoy cooking. I am currently working part time as a Tufts Dining employee and would love to show off the beautiful campus and programs that Tufts has to offer!

Clubs, organizations & involvement
I am a recreational rock climbing anchor guiding and driving over one dozen climbers on a weekly basis through community bondings and methods of continuous improvement in hands-on practices, an active member in Engineers without Borders working with Malawian communities to engineer and build water-catchment resources for safe drinking water while also teaching children firsthand at Tufts’ Eliot-Pearson’s Children School on how to implement environmentally friendly practices into their daily lives. I am studying abroad in summer 2025 in Pavia, Italy for a Data and Computer Science internal Tufts program, plan to rush and become a brother of ATO co-ed fraternity, and work an on-campus job at Hodgdon Food-on-the-Run as a front-end team expert.

Describe your college experience
The ability to let my independence flourish and make the most of what is offered my way, seizing opportunities that come my way while engaging in communities that best fit my interests and passions, has excelled my personal growth and allowed me to grow with others who have like-minded ambitions and determinations through the college experience, all while maintaining a strong balance between academic, social, and personal living.
Tip for future students
Always do something new every day, and never be embarrassed to do it. Embarrassment is temporary but the opportunity may pass by, and you will never tell yourself you wish you did less and experienced less of what life has to offer, only that you wish you took on everything you wished to seek out and accomplish. Being uncomfortable in a new space only means that you will experience tremendous growth, and everything will fall into place with time. It is okay to not have it all figured out, we are all doing the best we can given our circumstances.
Favorite class
Parent Child Relations, amplified my love for the merge between psychological factors that impact and help determine means of social and physical interaction with those closest to you, aided by a wonderful professor whose primary goal was to help us grow and learn so much in such a strong, intelligent, and personable fashion.
Career goals
I hope to involve myself in a middle ground between computing systems and psychological relations as to why we act the way we do, or hope to take on in-depth research on the cognitive development of children based on their circumstances, whether it be socioeconomic status, knowing a second language, having siblings, and travel opportunities and its impact on real-world environments as they grow up.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I am a night owl, and love to take some time to myself to reflect on my day while listening to ambient music and doing some homework, before going to climb to get out my extra energy, eating a dinner with my friends and laying back to watch a movie altogether in a dorm.
