My name is Tell Moter and I am a freshman here at the University of Alabama. I am a business marketing major and I am originally from Flower Mound, Texas. I think that coming to Tuscaloosa has been the best decision I have made in my life. I have been given so many opportunities inside and outside of classes. I wouldn't choose anywhere else.

Describe your college experience
I have always been super driven to succeed in everything that I do. I excelled in high school and wanted a place that would push me and give me the resources to be able to excel after college. Alabama had all of those things. The transition here was smooth. There were so many events as a freshman, so I met people really quick and got super involved. There were plenty of clubs to join that fit my interests, and the professors were awesome. I quickly found the balance between doing well in school and also having a great life outside of that. Alabama focuses on providing a great space to excel in both.
Tip for future students
Get involved and stay out of the dorm as much as possible. Do lots and lots of things. Join clubs/organization, meet lots of people, take full advantage of all the resources. (Moody music hall, the rec, tennis courts, dining halls, libraries). Doing lots of things and staying out of the dorm makes for a very fun experience.
Favorite class
I loved Greek and Roman Myths class because I have always loved the old myths and my teacher was extremely passionate about that subject. He told the stories very vividly and made the class super engaging.
Career goals
I want to launch and run several business. I want to run my marketing agency and also open some more faith based businesses primarily teaching Biblical manhood and how to spread the gospel better.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I want to hang out with friends. Ideally we would do some sort of activity (pickleball, football, lifting at rec) and then go for dinner somewhere. Then head back to one of our houses and hang and talk and watch sports or a movie or play a game.
