University of Georgia
Honest, outgoing, traditional student who knows the in's and out's of UGA
My name is George and I am a junior at UGA. I am an English and Political science double major. I love Georgia football. I have had the whole experience at UGA, starting as a freshman, moving off campus, and getting involved in clubs. I want to be a tool for prospective students to get the true feeling of UGA so they can know if it is the right place for them.

Describe your college experience
College at UGA has been an amazing experience, but a major learning curve. Freshman year felt like a wonderland, so many places to see, people to meet, easy housing situations and guaranteed football tickets. Sophomore year reality hits, major classes became difficult, off-campus housing was a fiasco. Junior year I really feel like I have a hold on things with housing, parking, and school.
Tip for future students
Tips for incoming freshmen: Go to every event on campus. It is the best way to meet people and just remember everyone is in the same situation. Sophomores and Juniors: Think very hard about housing before you commit somewhere. Consider how hard parking is to get, where your classes will be, and if you want to have a job.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been Anti-monopoly and American Democracy. The professor had an impressive academic record, was passionate about the subject and offered a personal and rich learning environment. Her topics were educational, entertaining and rigorous.
Career goals
I am an aspiring attorney hoping to earn my JD from UGA law.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I typically spend my free nights out with friends or hanging in a friend's apartment and watching a movie or playing games.

George was great. He had an itinerary based on the information in my request. Highly recommend. He knows the campus and its history. He also gave great tips for an incoming freshman.
