Describe your college experience
I have really enjoyed attending UTK so far because I feel seen, included, and appreciated as a student here. I feel that UTK fully supports my personal and academic goals and will do their part to help me achieve them!
Tip for future students
I would recommend mapping out your class buildings ahead of time on a digital map (Google Maps, Waze, Life 360, etc.) along with the instructor's name, room number, and class time. I would have definitely had a harder time navigating campus (as a commuter in my case) as an incoming freshman had I not done this. Also, utilizing a planner or a calendar of some sort (digital or not) and stick to it throughout the semester. This will help keep your assignments, classes, and exam dates in one place for quick reference and to keep hold you accountable academically.
Favorite class
I have really enjoyed my English 101 class because it is very flexible with the work, the content is interesting, and I feel that I am able to appreciate and engage with the learning material in the course.
Career goals
I hope to be a Public Relations Specialist or something in the creative realm of PR.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy baking, singing, playing Fortnite and other video games, and reading. I’m a huge fan of Marvel, Star Wars, DC, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Supernatural, and all things nerdy—basically, anything in that realm! I also love collecting Funko Pops. Most importantly, I am a proud Christian who is blessed to walk with Jesus through life!
