Molly- National Merit, MBA, Environmental Science, French, Blount, Study Abroad
Hi, I'm Molly! I have been at The University of Alabama for the past 4.5 years as a National Merit Scholar, so I know all of the ins and outs of campus. I double majored in Environmental Science and French and minored in Blount through the College of Arts and Sciences as an undergrad. Currently, I am finishing up my MBA at the Manderson Graduate School of Business at UA after participating in the STEM Path to the MBA program. I have studied abroad three times, worked on campus, been a member of a smaller sorority that is part of the United Greek Council, and have been involved in many other clubs over the years. I have also had two internships during my time at UA and have a job lined up for after graduation. I'd love to show you around the most beautiful campus in the country or have a video call with you!

Describe your college experience
I started school in August of 2020, so the initial transition period was difficult. However, I was so happy that we were able to be on campus that year and I was still able to meet so many amazing friends that I keep in touch with today. Since then, my time at The University of Alabama has been filled with so many incredible experiences. I have studied abroad in Costa Rica, France, and South East Asia, worked with the career fair to help me get two internships and land a job after graduation, traveled with the College of Arts and Sciences to Washington D.C. over spring break to meet with potential employers and learn more about the city, and formed relationships with some amazing professors and faculty members that have helped me throughout my academic career. UA has so much to offer and I really feel like it's been a choose your own adventure novel! This isn't to say that college has been without its challenges (I had to learn how to manage my time very quickly freshman year), but I am so grateful that I chose to go to school at The University of Alabama.
Tip for future students
Look into all of the programs that UA has to offer, such as the Blount Scholars Program or STEM Path to the MBA, and make sure to keep track of the deadlines.
Favorite class
I took a Zen Buddhism class through the Blount Scholars Program and it turned out to be my favorite class because it was so unique.
Career goals
After college, I have a job as a project manager lined up.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal night is spent hanging out downtown with the friends I've made through the MBA program! When I'm not in the mood to be social, I love cuddling up and watching Netflix in my apartment with a home cooked meal.
