Describe your college experience

My transition was everything I could’ve imagined and more. I began living in a two person dorm with a random roommate that quickly became my best friend. In my opinion, living your first year in the dorms is extremely essential to a smooth introduction to adulthood. My classes were captivating and provided the perfect amount of challenge for me.

Favorite class

My favorite class was American Sign Language because it was unlike any of my other classes and it taught me so much in such a fun way. Our classes were all voice-off, meaning that we were instructed using only written communication and sign. This offered a fun challenge and total immersion in Deaf culture.

Career goals

Get a Masters in Speech Language Pathology and work in a private practice with young children.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Hang out with my friends or spend the night in watching movies with my roommate.
