Biochemistry student at USC with a minor in Global Health - Fight On!
Hey everybody! My name is Rae and I'm from the beautiful, rainy city of Seattle! I'm a freshman at the USC, and my goal in 4 years is to be a freshman in medical school. I'm in several clubs here, including Club Water Polo and AMWA (American Medical Women's Association). A few hobbies of mine are photography and music. I know how much of a rollercoaster college decisions can be, so feel free to reach out - maybe you'll love being a Trojan too!

Describe your college experience
Coming to USC as an out of state student definitely took some getting used to, and not just because I suddenly had sun exposure. College life is absolutely what you make of it, and that includes extracurricular involvement, who you surround yourself with, and what you decide your priorities are. There are always going to be obstacles, but what has made my time at USC so awesome is the network of people that picks me up and dusts me off each time.
Tip for future students
Try everything, and don't count stuff out just because you heard something through the grapevine!
Favorite class
Chemistry 107 with Professor Benderski was (surprisingly) my favorite class. Not only did he make himself fully accessible to all of our questions, but the class felt like a sort of family by the end of the semester.
Career goals
I hope to attend medical school!
