Describe your college experience
College has easily been my favorite time of my life so far. Going from high school where it seems you don't really have much say in your daily routine, to college where pretty much every aspect of your daily life is completely up to you was a very big, but very welcomed change. On top of that, the atmosphere of being at FSU is unlike anything else I've experienced. It's almost impossible to run out of things to see and do.
Favorite class
Funny enough, my favorite class has nothing to do with finance. In my freshman year, I took Intro to Programming and, truthfully, it was one of the most difficult classes I've taken during my college career, but it was still extremely fun and satisfying when I finally worked out all the errors in my code. I learned a lot and it definitely set me up to be a better student for future classes.
Career goals
I plan to combine my Finance degree with my Astrophysics minor to find a job on the business side of the space industry. However, that is more of an end goal, so starting out I'll work as an Assistant Financial advisor at a local firm in Melbourne until I can gather the experience and knowledge to make the leap into the space industry.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Well, I'm not going to lie, the night life in Tallahassee is quite notorious. With that being said, I love to stay in and read books... kidding of course. There are plenty of fun bars and clubs (some of them only requiring you to be 18 to enter) that have great party atmospheres if you're into that. If not, there's almost always some sort of event happening on campus whether it's hosted by the school itself, organizations, or clubs. Like I said, its almost impossible to run out of things to do and see.
