Describe your college experience

My time at USC has been incredible. Starting as a freshman, it was amazing to experience the campus vibes—full of energy, ambition, and opportunities. I made the most of it, and it paid off with unforgettable memories, lasting friendships, and valuable business connections. After that, I moved to Hong Kong for my sophomore year and Italy for my junior year, which was an eye-opening experience. Living in different cultures allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. Now, I’m back at USC for my senior year, excited to take on new challenges and start my career. After signing my job offer, I’m eager to give back and help younger students with any advice or support I can—whether it’s about career, life, or navigating college. This tour guide role is a great opportunity to show high schoolers just how vibrant USC’s campus is, the amazing resources we have, and the dynamic energy that makes it so special. I want to be honest and transparent with them, helping them understand if USC is the right fit for them.

Tip for future students

1. Go beyond the classroom - USC has so many opportunities outside of academics. Join clubs, sports teams, or get involved in leadership positions. 2. Don't overload yourself early on - USC can be intense, and it’s easy to feel pressure to do everything. My advice? Don’t burn out by trying to join every club or attend every event right away. Take time to explore and figure out what interests you most. 3. Explore different cultures on campus: USC is super diverse, and this is one of its best features. Take advantage of the multicultural student organizations, food festivals, and global events. It’s a great way to meet people from all over the world!

Favorite class

MOR421: Social and Ethical Issues in Business. Prof Jody Tolan is amazing and supportive, you are encouraged to think critically about tough questions. How should a company balance profit with social responsibility? What ethical considerations should guide decision-making? These are the types of issues you’ll confront in your career, and this class helps you form a solid foundation for handling them.
