Hi! My name is Morgan and I am currently a junior at the College of Charleston. I am studying Hospitality and Tourism and really enjoy the program. Describe your college experience

At first college was defiantly a change and I missed home, however, now that I have good friends and have been here for a little while I have adapted to college life and absolutely love it!

Tip for future students

Something I wish I knew my freshman year was that the friends you start off with aren't always who you end up with, so don't be discouraged. Some of my closest friends have been from classes or met through other friends. Another thing is to just talk to the professor if you have a concern or need help, they are more than happy to help you out.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism. I absolutely loved the professor and the material was so fun and interesting to learn about. Also, we learned about real world experiences as well as experiences from the professor.

Career goals

After college, I would love to do either wedding planning or work my way up to my own business.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Watching the sunset on the beach, going to dinner, movie with friends, or just hanging out.
