Pennsylvania State University
Current Graduate Student and Undergraduate Class of 2024 - Penn State University
I am currently working towards a Masters in Public Administration at Penn State, but I also completed my undergraduate degrees at Penn State (two B.A.s as well as two minors). I love this university and have felt at home here since I started in 2020. I have been engaged in a wide variety of clubs and organizations on campus and have completed a study abroad program. I also was a Schreyer Honors student during my undergrad years. I hope to share with you what makes Penn State great both academically and culturally.

Describe your college experience
I loved every moment of my college experience! There are so many opportunities and ways to be involved or meet people. I think it's really true that you can make a big school small, but you can't make a small school big. It is so easy to find your people at Penn State. You also can learn so much in and out of the classroom. I think that my four years of undergrad helped me grow an insane amount and I am a much more confident and happy person today than I was before college.
Tip for future students
One tip I have is to do the things that make you nervous! If something scares you that means that you care, and that's good! Lean into it because so much of college is getting to know new parts of yourself or exploring things outside of your comfort zone. There's a difference between not doing something because you really don't care and not doing something because you are afraid of messing up.
Favorite class
Any of my GLIS classes with Dr. Sommer Mitchell! She is so friendly and intelligent that the classroom environment was very supportive in a way that lead me to grow and learn so much!
Career goals
I am currently working a full-time job in development while working towards my masters degree part-time. It is a very communication focused role where I get to meet new people and build relationships, which is really cool to me!
Ideal way to spend a free night
Doing an activity with friends! Preferably out of the house because I like to leave my apartment and check out the world around me. I am always up for a new experience.
High school or secondary school
I graduated from Central Bucks High School- East in Doylestown, PA (Bucks County)
