Extroverted Senior, Retired Official Tour Guide

Hello! I’m Mason, and I’m a senior at Brown studying sociology and entrepreneurship hailing from Bozeman, Montana. I’m an entrepreneur—I’ve started three ventures and am the Director of the Young Entrepreneurs Program (YEP) which supports budding teen entrepreneurs in Providence. I’m also a creative writer—I have two self published books and I’m a star writer/editor for three literary magazines on campus. I was a tour guide this summer, very excited to tell you about Brown and my experience here!

Describe your college experience

I’ve loved Brown, and have always had a blast giving tours to prospective families!

Favorite class

The Entrepreneurship Practicum, which I now TA for. It’s less a class and more a workshop, all students in the course have a venture they’re building. The point of the course is to assist these students in building and scaling their ventures!

Career goals

Continue writing nonfiction!

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love going on drives—Rhode Island beaches at night are incredible.

High school or secondary school

Bozeman High School
