Describe your college experience

My transition to college was difficult at first being so far from home, but I adjusted fairly quickly and loved the people and atmosphere of the university. I have gotten to experience so many great opportunities both through on campus organizations and activities surrounding the Knoxville area.

Tip for future students

My biggest tip is to get involved right away! I started getting involved in clubs and activities the first day I got here, and I was able to meet some great friends that I am still very close to. I would also say that it is important to establish a good schedule and keep yourself organized to keep up with school, friends, and all the great things that UTK has to offer!

Favorite class

My favorite class has been my Music in the United States class as it showed me how involved Tennessee has been in the development of music throughout United States history.

Career goals

I am planning on going to law school after undergrad and becoming a corporate lawyer!

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love to get together with friends and try out a new restaurant or go to market square!
