Hi! My name is Colby and I am currently obtaining my MS EdS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from FSU. I also received my bachelors from FSU in Psychology & Public Health. I have been living in Tallahassee and going to FSU since 2018, so I know a lot about the university and the city! Aside from that, I have a lot of friends who are in/have completed various programs at FSU so I can get you the inside scoop!

Describe your college experience
My college experience has had a lot of ups & downs but I’m very proud of how far I’ve come!
Favorite class
In undergrad my favorite class was introduction to brain and behavior. My instructor was awesome and just made it such a fun class! Currently, my favorite class has been our multicultural class in counseling. A lot of conversations were sparked and I enjoyed having a space to learn and grow with my cohort.
Career goals
I hope to obtain licensure as an LMHC & work either in private practice or with a community agency.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I really enjoy going to First Fridays at railroad square! If it’s not first Friday I’m often studying or just relaxing since grad school can be a lot at times :)
