Describe your college experience
Growing up in Miami, transitioning to life at FSU in Tallahassee was an exciting change. I’ve truly enjoyed my college experience—meeting people from all over, getting involved in campus organizations, and taking advantage of everything FSU has to offer. The sense of community here is incredible, and it’s been amazing to grow both personally and academically while pursuing my goals.
Tip for future students
One of the best tips I can give future students is to get involved early! Whether it’s joining a club, attending events, or volunteering, it’s the easiest way to make friends and feel connected to campus. Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help—FSU has so many resources, from academic advising to mental health support, and everyone here wants to see you succeed. Lastly, enjoy every moment; college flies by faster than you think!
Favorite class
One of my favorite classes at FSU has been Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy. It was fascinating to study the structures of different animals and how they’ve adapted over time. The hands-on lab work, like dissections, really helped bring the concepts to life and gave me a deeper appreciation for anatomy—something that’s especially important as I prepare for dental school. It was challenging but incredibly rewarding!
Career goals
After graduating from FSU, I plan to attend dental school to pursue my dream of becoming a dentist. My goal is to combine my passion for healthcare with helping people feel confident about their smiles. I’m particularly interested in community outreach and making dental care more accessible to underserved populations.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night would either be going out with friends to explore Tallahassee’s food and nightlife or staying in to cook a great meal for my girlfriend or friends. I love the balance of enjoying the energy of the city and relaxing with good company at home.
