Describe your college experience

My college experience has been a mix of challenges and growth. Being a Computer Engineering major has pushed me to develop strong problem-solving and time management skills. I’ve also explored my passion for AI and machine learning, which has shaped my academic and career goals. While it hasn’t always been easy—especially with personal setbacks and tough coursework—I've found support through friends, professors, and campus resources. Overall, college has been a time of learning, both in and out of the classroom. I feel like especially as I really find more and more about what type of resources are offered here at NCSU it really makes the experience even better!

Tip for future students

One of the biggest things I wish I had known before starting college is the importance of time management. Staying on top of deadlines and avoiding last-minute cramming makes a huge difference. Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help—whether from professors, classmates, or academic resources. Finally, take time to explore different interests. College is the perfect place to step out of your comfort zone, so get involved, network, and make the most of every opportunity!

Favorite class

My favorite class so far has been MIE 209- Survey of Entrepreneurship This has been my favorite class so far because I feel like this stemmed my interest in the business world as well and now I want to pursue a job that mesh both technology and business!

Career goals

After college, I hope to work in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, focusing on business applications like data analytics, computer vision, or AI-driven decision-making. I want to use my Computer Engineering background and my minor to work between technology and strategy, optimizing efficiency in industries like finance, marketing, or manufacturing.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My favorite way to spend a free night is either a movie night with my friends at our apartment or a nice evening out shopping or at a sit down restaurant.
