Brown University

Hi! I am a junior at Brown studying statistics and computer science

In my free time I love to play basketball, solve rubik's cubes, and play music. Some of my extracurriculars include Wind Symphony and Brown Sports Analytics, and I am on the E-Board of Brown's Chapter of Food Recovery Network!

Describe your college experience

There is a lot more work than high school but also a lot more freedom. Make sure to take time to relax if you need to, because teachers are often willing to grant extensions on assignments if you are busy.

Tip for future students

I would recommend taking an easy schedule your first semester and get involved in clubs. It is hard to get adjusted to college life your first semester so you should take a semester to get used to things before taking a very rigorous schedule. Also don't be afraid to take any courses Pass/Fail!

Favorite class

I've explored several fun classes during my time at Brown. I have taken Studio Foundation where I learned about drawing, Theory of Jazz and Pop Harmony, and Chinese, but my favorite is probably acting because it helped me become better at communicating!
