University of Illinois
I am a junior studying accountancy and finance in the Gies college of business.
I am an outgoing and personable person actively involved in various activities on campus. As the president of my social fraternity, a member of Delta Sigma Pi professional business fraternity, and the UIUC Investment Management Academy, I’m passionate about leadership and teamwork. I also work as a bartender at Kams, which has been a great experience for me to expand my horizons.

Describe your college experience
Ever since I stepped foot in Champaign, I knew this was the place for me. Right away, I joined a social fraternity and found a group of people I could call my brothers. After that, I joined DSP where I was able to find a like-minded community of business majors that I could study with but also call my best friends. I have also involved myself in many other student organizations that have helped me to recruit for jobs and land my incoming internship at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been ACCY 202. In this class, I was able to take a deep dive into both financial and managerial accounting and learn so much about how decisions are made within businesses. What excited me so much about this class is how it applied to many of my finance courses as well. To this day, when I am evaluating companies for an upcoming pitch for the Investment Management Academy, I think about ACCY 202 principles and why certain managers may make specific decision, which I believe gives me a variant view compared to the street.
Career goals
After college I hope to work in Investment Banking full-time, and I have accepted an internship offer as an Investment Banking summer 2025 analyst at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company. My goal would be to work hard this upcoming summer and receive a return offer back to BGL to work full-time.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is to go out with friends on Green Street, which is the center of campus life at UIUC.
