Describe your college experience
My college experience has been very eventful. In these past two years, I have met some lifelong friends and have made so many meaningful connections. I love my college experience at the University of Alabama because everyone you meet is so unique and I have been able to create my own puzzle/life with all unique pieces.
Tip for future students
One tip I have for future students is to stay organized and get ahead. It is really easy to forget assignments if you are not organized and do not plan ahead of time. Procrastination in college can bee detrimental because there could be random events or circumstances that come up that if you are not ahead, it can cause you to not do well in the class.
Favorite class
So far my favorite class was my freshwater studies course. In this class we took weekly field trips and conducted research on freshwater regions all over west Alabama. We collected water and bug samples and got to further study them in the lab. This was my favorite class because I enjoy hands-on learning and got to get introduced to research.
Career goals
After college, I plan to go to medical school and become a medical doctor. I would want to be a M.D. focusing on global public health. I have always found global medical practices interesting and would use the resources I learn in medical school to help others all around the world.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I am a people person and love to spend a free night with my friends trying new restaurants, enjoying art, doing activities, and more. Another way I like to spend a free night is cuddled up with my puppy watching Netflix or reading a novel.
