University of Maryland
Junior UMD Student with 3 years of on-campus living experience
Hi there! My name is Kathryn, and I'm a junior Art History major. I am very well-rounded in campus experiences, so I'll be able to answer almost any questions you might have. I have lived in the dorms, off-campus as a commuter, and now in the South Campus Commons apartments. I was a freshman connection student as well as a re-enrollment applicant, so I'll have a very unique experience to share with you!

Describe your college experience
College is truly unlike anything else. I've had the opportunity to meet so many different kinds of people, and participate in events that I could only dream of previously. Freshman connection made the transition to college quite easy, which was reassuring.
Favorite class
CLAS170; the content was so interesting, and I loved my teacher.
Career goals
I hope to get my Master's degree and work in an art museum (possibly one of the ones in DC!)
Ideal way to spend a free night
Some days I'm more content to stay in my dorm and relax while doing something creative, while others I prefer to go around the College Park area and try new foods and drinks with my friends.
High school or secondary school
Richard Montgomery in Rockville, MD.
Meeting point
Frederick Douglass Square on the University of Maryland campus
