Describe your college experience

My transition to college has been exciting but challenging. The workload is tougher than high school, but I’ve learned to balance my Criminal Justice major, Communications minor, and extracurriculars. Getting involved in Panhellenic has been a great way to meet people and develop leadership skills. Overall, it’s been a rewarding experience, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

Tip for future students

One tip I’d give future students is to get involved early—whether that’s through clubs, organizations, or Greek life. It helps you make connections and feel more at home on campus. I also wish I’d known how important time management is. The workload can be overwhelming at times, so staying organized is key. Lastly, don’t be afraid to ask for help, whether it’s from professors, advisors, or peers. There’s so much support here, and using it makes a big difference.

Favorite class

My favorite classes are my Criminal Justice classes. I grew up loving crime shows​/​documentary's so being able to learn more about it is intriguing.
