Describe your college experience
Adjusting to college life was both exciting and overwhelming at first. Moving away from home meant learning to be more independent, which came with challenges like managing my own schedule and balancing academics with social activities. The initial weeks were a bit intimidating, especially with new faces and different teaching styles, but now I have found myself and my people here! I've enjoyed engaging in classes that align with my interests, which makes learning feel more meaningful. Beyond academics, joining clubs and participating in campus events helped me find a sense of belonging and expand my social circle. It hasn't been without its ups and downs—juggling deadlines, homesickness, and the occasional stress—but each challenge has taught me valuable lessons about time management and self-care. I'm excited about what’s to come and look forward to continuing this journey.
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been Sustainable Humanities. I love this class because it is immersive, easily understood, and aligns directly with my interests in environmental science and humanitarian efforts to make the world a better place. It’s encouraging to study topics that inspire action toward meaningful change.
Career goals
After college I would love to travel and learn more about our planet, but my longterm goal is to become an Environmental Lawyer, going to law school in Boston.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal night would be a mix of relaxation and exploring. I’d start by watching a documentary, my fav show at the time, or reading things I’m passionate about. After that, I’d enjoy some downtime, maybe with a walk outside to the battery to clear my mind, followed by hanging out with my family, better known as my roommates, and watching a movie. I love unwinding and connecting with others regularly.
