Outgoing biology nerd who loves everthing ocean
Hi! My name is Tex (they/them) and I am a student at UC Berkeley! Outside of class, I work in a lab on campus and spend my free time reading and playing D&D with friends. I grew up in the Bay Area, so being able to return here has been a highlight of my experience.

Describe your college experience
Entered as a freshman not knowing what I wanted to do, but definitely not stem. Talked to my friend about how passionate I am and then decided to start my stem journey here at Cal. Had a few chaotic semesters, but I've been finding the positive in each experience.
Tip for future students
Professors are people, too. Don't be afraid to reach out to your superiors for support, they are more understanding than people realize.
