Describe your college experience
My transition to college was one of great change and it was one of the best things to ever happen to me. Home is over 1,000 miles away and I took a big leap by coming so far, but since I got here I have felt at home and like I belong consistently. It was easy to find my people and get involved on campus which was another part of my transition that I liked a lot.
Tip for future students
If you don’t like your major, you CAN change it. Start looking for next year’s housing EARLY!!! October is not too early by any means. Live in a house, Apartments are nice but if you can, houses are way more worth your money per month. Go to class, its harder then it sounds but makes your life so much easier.
Favorite class
General Business Administration (GBA) 246 with Keith Norton. Mr Keith mixed both real world stories with class curriculum to create a productive class and a learning environment where we felt at home. He has also been available for any internship questions I have had past the end of the class.
Career goals
I plan to go to grad school to pursue my Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and then figure out where I am taken from there.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a night varies. Some nights, when there is a sports game on, I will get with my roommates and go out to a local bar or restaurant, watch the game, and stick around for live music after. (Most Thursdays-Saturdays.) My Sunday through Wednesday nights are often spent in either Bruno or Rodgers library, but I can also be found watching a movie or a show. It all really depends.
