Describe your college experience
My transition to college has been an evolving journey. Initially, I faced some uncertainty with my academic path, changing my major three times as I explored what truly resonated with me. Despite this, I’ve embraced the college experience overall, appreciating the independence of living away from home. However, the adjustment hasn’t been entirely easy, and there are moments when I feel homesick, so I like being not too far from home. Socially, things didn’t click right away, and it wasn’t until my second year that I really started to make meaningful friendships. Despite the challenges, my overall experience has been positive, and I love being in college. It's a mix of growth, both academically and personally, and I am embracing the journey.
Tip for future students
Something I wish I'd known before starting school here is if you know what general field interests you choose to do a pre-track to avoid changing your major.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been JUST 4280 because it is structured to be very open-ended and oppose to sitting through an hour and a half class, I get to interact with my peers and professor.
Career goals
After college, I hope to attend law school then bar and practice patent law.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is at home watching a comfort show crocheting with my cat.
