Describe your college experience

My college experience has been incredibly fulfilling. I’ve loved the variety of classes at Penn—ones that let me travel globally, like the American Race class where I visited Greece to engage with nonprofits on the topic of race; courses with community service components, such as mentoring high school students in my area; and those that brought renowned guest speakers from all over the world. Beyond academics, the communities I’ve built at Penn have truly become an extension of my family. These connections have been my lifeline, helping me grow into the person I am today. It’s because of these amazing people that I’ve taken on leadership roles to give back, whether through mentoring or program development. As a senior, I genuinely cherish my time at Penn and feel a sense of bittersweetness as it nears its end.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been American Race because it allowed me to explore how race influences areas like labor, entertainment, education, and social justice, not just in Philadelphia but internationally. The class included a global component where I traveled to Greece for 10 days, interacting with nonprofits and organizations to better understand the impact of race and the efforts being made to mitigate its effects.

Career goals

Coming into college, I initially planned to be pre-med, as that was all I knew. However, through luck and hard work, I was accepted into Wharton, where my love for healthcare and business grew. For three years, I continued with pre-med, but with the resources and support from Wharton and my community, I gained the confidence to pivot into the unknown—becoming the first person in my family to venture into business. Now, I’m excited to be joining L.E.K. Consulting after graduation, where I’ll be working in management consulting.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love hosting events and creating memories with friends. In fact, next week I’m hosting a fall movie night, where we’ll bake treats and watch movies together to unwind after midterms. Whether it’s a chill night binge-watching Netflix or organizing social gatherings, I love finding ways to connect with people and make lasting memories.
