Describe your college experience
I believe I had a smoother transition into college from high school as I joined something called the Pathways Program, which has different clusters for Freshmen with about 60 students within each cluster that are put in the same classes. Overall, I have been having a lot of fun in college, though classes are a bit difficult.
Tip for future students
I would say don’t always follow the crowd, but instead do what makes you comfortable and what you can excel with. A lot of students feel like they should be doing something a certain way because everyone else is, but really just work in a way that will help you succeed. I would also say as Berkeley is a very liberal campus, you should expect protests, and it’s important to keep and open mind.
Favorite class
I would say Chem lab has been the most fun because I really enjoy working with my hands. It seems more daunting than it a fault is, but if you regularly attend lab and lectures, you will do great in the class.
Career goals
I hope to go to med school, as my big picture goal is to become a doctor.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Either partying with my roommates and floor mates, or staying in, ordering food and just talking or playing fun word games.
