Describe your college experience
So far, I have really enjoyed my college experience at UNC-Chapel Hill. The transition to college was exciting but also a little nerve-wracking at first. However, I quickly found a great group of friends from all over, which made campus feel like home. The sense of community here is amazing, and I’ve been able to balance academics with fun experiences. I love that I’m getting a great education while also meeting incredible people and making lifelong memories.
Tip for future students
One tip for future students at UNC-Chapel Hill is to embrace the balance between academics and social life. While the coursework requires dedication and effort, there are still plenty of opportunities to have fun and be part of a vibrant community. Whether it’s joining student organizations, attending sports events, or just hanging out on campus, there’s always something happening. Time management is key—staying on top of your work allows you to fully enjoy everything UNC has to offer. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, make connections, and take advantage of the amazing resources and experiences available here!
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been ECON 101 because it helped me discover my love for a major I wasn’t sure I would enjoy at first. It challenged me to think critically and pushed me out of my comfort zone, making me approach problems in new ways. The class was engaging and made me realize how much I enjoy analyzing data and understanding economic concepts. It ultimately played a huge role in shaping my decision to major in Economics and Statistics!
