Describe your college experience
Coming to FSU from Pennsylvania was an exciting transition filled with opportunities and unforgettable traditions. From joining business clubs and finding community in a Christian group to staying active with fitness classes and running local half-marathons, I’ve discovered so much about myself. Some of my favorite moments include getting tossed into the Westcott Fountain for my 21st birthday and joining thousands of fans doing the war chant at football games. College has been a time to grow, explore, and feel at home—FSU truly has it all!
Tip for future students
My tip for future students is to get involved! There are so many opportunities at FSU, and jumping in will help you feel at home. It’s also okay to be nervous—everyone feels that way at first. Challenge yourself in all areas—academically, spiritually, and physically—and don’t be afraid to try new things. One of the most important things I’ve learned is to find a community that aligns with your values. Connecting with classmates and professors has been a game changer for me, and it’s helped me feel more at home at FSU. Embrace the journey, but remember to find balance and enjoy your time here!
Favorite class
Equity Valuation has been my favorite course because it gave me a deeper understanding of how to value publicly traded companies, which is not only useful for future careers but also for personal investing. The final stock pitch project helped me improve my presentation skills and sharpen my ability to form a concise target price for a stock.
Career goals
After college, I hope to work in the finance industry, either in corporate finance or banking. While I’m still exploring my path, my long-term goal is to own my own business one day.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is staying in with my roommates, watching a good movie, or getting lost in a book. It’s the perfect way to relax and unwind after a busy day.
